Let's Make A Deal: Police Talk Trade With CT Stop & Shop Thief

An alleged shoplifter at a Connecticut Stop & Shop has found himself stuck between a rock and a hard place.

The Southbury Police Department made a deal to a shopper who allegedly stole Red Bull from Stop & Shop on Main Street who left behind a valuable item in the process.

“To the person that helped themselves to Red Bull today at Stop & Shop without paying, you dropped your phone at the scene,” the department posted online on Sunday, Feb. 16. “We have it, so let’s trade. Bring the Red Bull back and we will return your phone.”

No information regarding the suspects has been released.
